The Master Mag Overband Separators are renowned around the world as the most effective units for the continuous removal of tramp metal/ferrous material from a product stream. This type of magnetic separator is used to protect, clean and separate materials on applications mainly in the recycling and quarrying industries. Most commonly used on mobile crushing machinery, Overbelt magnets are self-cleaning, so that no manual cleaning is required and downtime for the end user is reduced to a minimum.

Master Magnets offer 3 types of magnetic Overband Separators to work with different types of applications:

  1. Type K Permanent Overband Separators: Shown in the furthest image to the left, the Type K Overbands are most often used in the Quarrying and Recycling industries. The Type K units are the most economical Overbands in the Mastermag range and are ideal for use on mobile crushers and screens.

  2. Heavy Duty Electro Overband Separators: These are the most powerful Overband Separators in the Master Magnets range. Used mainly in more arduous applications, the Electro Overbands can extract finer pieces of ferrous, burried in deeper burden depths. 

  3. SCB series Permanent Overband Separators: Shown in the image to the right, The SCB series Overbands have a longer service life than the standard Type K units, due to their heavy-duty construction.
