The Master Mag Overband Separators are renowned around the world as the most effective unit for the continuous removal of tramp metal/ferrous material from a product stream. This type of magnetic separator is used to protect, clean and separate materials on applications mainly in the recycling and quarrying industry. Most commonly used on mobile crushing machinery, Overbelt magnets are self cleaning, so that no manual cleaning is required and downtime for the end user is reduced to a minimum.

Master Magnets offer 3 types of magnetic overband separators to work with different types of applications:

  1. Self Cleaning Magnet: Type K Permanent Overband Separators. Used mainly in Recycling and Quarrying industries. Most economical overband in the Master Mag range. Ideal for use on mobile crushers and screens.

  2. Self Cleaning Magnet: Heavy Duty Electro Overband Seperators. This is the most powerful overband separator in Master Magnets product range. Used mainly in more arduous application, can extract finer pieces of ferrous burried in deeper burden depths. 

  3. Self Cleaning Magnet: SCB series Permanent Overband Separators. This unit has a longer life than the Type K overband separator due to its heavy-duty construction.
