One of the UKs leading concrete frame contractors Byrne Brothers, recently contacted Master Magnets to enquire about their range of Magnetic Sweepers. Byrne Bros. was established back in 1969 and have since been called upon to construct many of the UKs most well known structures and buildings.
| These include high rise structures such as Londons’ HSBC building in Canary Wharf and Sporting stadiums such as Arsenal Football Clubs’ Emirates Stadium. Byrne Brothers also won the contract to build the concrete foundations of the 2012 Olympic Stadium, a project that would be one the companies largest contracts to date. Byrne Brothers contacted Master Magnets during the first week of March this year, regarding the range of Magnetic Sweepers that they supply. After discussing the companys’ applications details, Master Magnets had a clear understanding of the dedication that Byrnes Group have in ensuring the Health and Safety of its employees and were very keen to provide equipment that would contribute even further to the safety of the Byrne Brothers workforce. |
A handheld broom sweeper and a forklift-mounted sweeper were supplied to Byrne Bros. and have been in use for almost two months.Paul Brooks, Byrnes Bros. Workshop Manager writes: "We recently ordered a handheld Magnetic Broom Sweeper as well as a Forklift Mounted Sweeper from Master Magnets. We wanted to see how capable the magnets were for picking up any ferrous materials that may be present around the construction sites that we work on. The sweepers are performing even better than we had hoped and have helped us to provide an even better level of Health and Safety for our employees." |
