Prior to the acquisition Metal Detection Limited had been established in the electronic metal detector business for over 40 years and had a wealth of experience supplying Metal Detectors to all types of industrial and processing applications.  Upon the acquisition Master Magnets first task was to gain knowledge and understanding of metal detection applications, and to contact all previous customers of the company to let them know a major manufacturer had just taken them over.

Over the next few years Master Magnets underwent some major developments as Metal Detection Ltd was incorporated into the company. A Metal Detection division was set up to accommodate the additional workload and the new business brought into the company. The division consisted of previous employees from metal detection ltd and existing employees at Master Magnets Ltd, this gave the company a broad knowledge in Metal Detection equipment.

The metal detection division consisted of key personnel in sales, technical and manufacturing departments. 

Joe Cetti was a previous employee at Metal Detection ltd, his expertise are in sales, as Joe has a broad knowledge in metal detection and magnetic separation applications. He has been effectively serving the recycling, quarrying, mining, food processing and material handling industries for 20 years. Currently Joe is leading the metal detection division team and he has inherited the job title of business manager. For all Metal Detection sales enquiries he is the man to speak to.

Mark Baker was an existing employee at Master Magnets Ltd, he is now the chief design engineer at Metal Detection Ltd. He has been serving our sector for 20 years and over the years he has gained vast knowledge in technical design having solved thousands of applications from around the world.

Dave Lahiffe was with Master Magnets in its early days, and he has grown with company to establish himself as works manager. His skills lye in all areas of manufacturing, he is a fully qualified electrician, fabricator and engineer. Dave main task is to oversea Metal Detection manufacturing, and to ensure output targets are achieved.

Terry Owen’s job title is production engineer, he was a previous employee at Metal Detection Ltd. Terry has brought his knowledge into the company, knowledge that he has accumulated over 40 years in production. The division also consists of various service engineers and consultants that work on a part time basis. As the company grows and expands Master Magnets Ltd hope to increase the division to make it more effective. Since 2005 the Metal Detection Division has exceeded targets and they have been very successful in satisfying customers, solving the most stringent of applications. Having already conquered the UK market, Master Magnets intend to grow Metal Detection Ltd over the next few years to establish the company as a world leader in Metal Detection Equipment to complement our existing range of magnetic separators. They have already supplied Metal Detectors to every continent on the Globe giving Metal Detection a head start.
