Irish Mines Rely On Master Magnets  | Last month Master Magnets received an order from the Lisheen mine in Ireland for one of the largest air-cooled magnets that they have been asked to supply. The six tonne Overband Separator was to be used in one of only two operating underground mines that are located in Ireland. The order from the Lisheen mine was placed after Metal Detection Ltd (part of the Master Magnets group of companies) supplied industrial metal detectors for the detection of any tramp metals that might be within the product stream. read more... |

Recresco Prefer Master Magnets At the beginning of 2008 Recresco - the materials recycling company – contacted MM to discuss eddy current separators for use within their glass cullet recycling. Keen to respond to customer requirements Recresco needed to provide cleaner glass without aluminium contamination and believed that the ECS was the way forward to add to their Southampton sortation plant. read more...
